The Magic Pie edge rear wheel E-Bike conversion kit makes for an easy to install DIY project. It replaces your entire rim to power your bicycle with its electric hub motor. The programmable motor supports multiple voltages and is rated for up to 500w, making it very versatile for leisurely rides or commuting. Also worth noting is that it comes in either a threaded or freehub version, to support either freewheels or cassettes respectively.
The proven power and durability of the Magic Pie Motor now improved with an all new Sinewave Controller and updated wire harness and controls. Sinewave Controllers are state of the art controller technology for Quiet smooth powerful acceleration and ride. The wire harness is military grade with plug and play plugs. The Bluetooth Device allows you to connect directly to the motor. Now instead of using a Smart Display and USB cable you can use your Android or iOS device to program the motor and mount it to your bike and use it to read current speed, power, distance, etc.
Power Specs
Supports 24v (250W), 36v (375W) and 48v (500W). At 24 volt it’s great for the leisurely pathways and can reach speeds of approximately 20 km/h. 36 and 48 volts is better for street use, as it can reach 32 km/h and 44 km/h respectively. The controller is programmable for tweaking speed, power, regenerative braking, etc - you just need to purchase the USB adapter cable.

- Bluetooth Device: Turn your Android or iOS device into your own Smart display with all the same features. Please Note: Although almost all devices from android 4.4 and up seem to work fine with the app we cannot guarantee it will work with your device. If you order a Bluetooth dongle and it does not work with your device, you can send the dongle back for a refund or exchange for a smart display. There seems to be no issues with iOS devices except some older smaller screens can only view the app properly in landscape mode.
Fitment:
- Choose your hub type to support either cassette or freewheel cogsets. Number of sprockets supported is either 6-7 for freewheels or 8-10 for cassettes.
- Dropouts should be 135mm apart.
- Disk brake compatible

Golden Motor is most widely known for their E-Bike hub motors, particularly the "Magic Pie" series. They also offer a full range of products, including motors, controllers and battery packs.
You may return most new, unused items within 10 days of delivery for a Store credit. We do not credit the original cost of shipping the product to you or the cost of you shipping the product to us. There will also be a 20 percent restocking fee.
You should expect to receive your credit within two to three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), and the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 4 business days).
If you receive a product damaged it must be reported immediately, including picture/video evidence. If there is any damage to the box please take pictures before you open it and report the damages to the courier immediately before you receive it.

This product comes with a full one year warranty for non commercial use. Our warranty is with the original purchaser of the products from our website. The warranty is non transferable. If you have an issue with a product you must first contact us, then we can attempt to trouble shoot the problem. We may ask you to do several tests to try to determine the problem. We may at our discretion send you parts for you to repair your item. If we feel repairs by the customer are not possible you will have to ship the item back to us at your expense. Once we receive and examine the returned product and decide the issue is not due to negligence of the customer, we will repair or replace the product and ship it back to you. If we decide the product has failed due to negligence of the customer then we will estimate the repair or replacement cost and bill you for that cost and the cost of return shipping back to you. Once this is paid we will perform the repair or replacement and ship it back to you. If you decide you do not want to proceed with the repair or replacement you can pay the shipping to have it returned to you or it will simply be discarded or destroyed.
This warranty does not cover or warranty damage to the unit caused by:
1. Defects, malfunction, or failures resulting from abuse, misuse, modifications, alterations, improper storage, use of unauthorized attachments including failure to provide or perform required maintenance services. Preventive maintenance is the warranty holder's responsibility.
2. Damage caused by dirt or corrosion in all of this forms, including, but not restricted to rust, salt water, varnish and moisture.
3. Failure to follow the setup, pre-delivery service, and adjustments.
4. Damage caused by pressure, or steam cleaning of the product.
5. General wear and tear.
6. Damage caused during any form of racing, commercial use, crash damage included but not limited to fork or F.T.C damage or any use deemed improper by us, acting reasonably.
Our sole obligation under this warranty is to replace or repair, at it's option, any part found to be defective. Parts replaced or repaired under this warranty are warrantied only for the balance of the warranty period. All defective parts replaced under warranty become our property. For warranty repairs, you must at your expense, arrange shipment for sending your product back. If the product has failed, and judged by us that the failure is not the fault of the consumer, it will be repaired or replaced and shipped back at our expense. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties. Any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or otherwise, is specifically denied. Some states do not allow how long an applied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have specific legal rights that vary state to state or province to province.
Special note for batteries: We only warranty the keyswitch, battery cells and BMS. Other additional items like USB ports and LED lights are not warrantied. Batteries that come in bags, we do not warranty the bag.
