The new 2020 GT uses the same lightweight platform as before, but packs more torque so you can enjoy a higher speed and conquer slopes with more ease. It’s also equipped with an improved battery that delivers a longer range. And the 2020 model comes with a rear drum brake to compliment the added power.
The E-TWOW GT is one of the most competitive and performant scooters in the "under 30 lb" weight class. It boasts a a peak output of 700W, which can accelerate from 0-24 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
One of the biggest complaints about previous E-TWOW scooters has been the lack of braking power. Well in 2020 this has been addressed in the form of a rear drum brake. Combined with the foot brake and re-gen braking, the GT 2020 is now very capable of emergency braking. It can stop in just 4.6 meters from a speed of 24 km/h.
With its upgraded 48 V 10.5 Ah lithium ion battery, the GT can get up to 50 km on a single charge. Although with more spirited riding, a range of 30-40 km is more realistic.
The GT comes with dual suspension for optimal ride comfort. The front and rear springs help absorb bumps on uneven terrain - and cruising on pavment is silky smooth. This model has a larger riding deck measuring 51.3cm x 14.7cm. It also comes complete with rubber grip, for both safety and added comfort.
