Introducing the Apollo City
With a 48V 13.2Ah battery powered by Dynavolt cells (globally renowned manufacturer of electric motorbike batteries), the Apollo City offers 40-45 km of range, while riding in eco mode. When riding in realistic conditions at full speed, you can expet range of 35 km. When you do eventually find yourself in need of a re-charge, it will take 5 hours to charge with the regular charger, or 2-3 hours with the fast charger.
Affordable Power
The Apollo City features a high-efficiency (86% energy conversion rate) brushless 600W motor with 800W peak output. Technical jargon aside, the City has a top speed of 40 km/h and climbs 15 degree inclines with ease. Designed for riders weighing up to 260 lb, it reaches 25 km/h in 4.1 seconds leaving most cyclists (and often cars) behind.
Dual Suspension and Braking Systems
The Apollo City offers the perfect mix of features and brakes are no exception. The main braking power comes from the rear drum brake, which requires little maintenance or upkeep. In addition, the front disc brake acts as a safety back-up should you need the additional stopping power. Finally, the electric re-gen brake will automatically slow the scooter down when the brake handle is pressed (braking strength can be controlled in settings) and re-charge your battery while doing so. Overall, this adds up to an average braking distance of about 3 meters.
And with spring suspension in the front and dual spring suspension in the rear, you will fly over bumpy roads and potholes. In addition, the 8.5 inch pneumatic (air-filled) tire in the front will further absorb shocks making your ride buttery-smooth. Your back will thank us later.
Highly Portable
Weighing only 39 lbs, featuring a collapsable stem, and a 3-second folding mechanism - the Apollo City adapts perfectly to the different stages of your commute. It is also equipped with strong LED lights in the front, rear, and under the deck to ensure you ride safely at all times.
LCD Control Panel
Stay in-the-know with key riding statistics such as speed, distance, battery charge, and more. The City comes with a number of configurable settings too - choose between kick-and-go or instant acceleration. Turn on cruise control for longer rides. Choose acceleration strength or switch between imperial and metric systems. In other words, configure the City to make it your own.

We're not at all anti-bike or even anti-car, but simply fell in love with how fun and convenient electric scooters are. The thrill of seeing anyone from 16 to 60 years old hop on a scooter for the first time and ride it with confidence is one of a kind. Every day we get one step closer to our goal, of abandoning transportation mediocrity, and helping Canadians commute for less, while having more fun and doing good for the environment.
Let us be very clear - we do not accept returns of used products. If you choose to return a used product with any signs of wear and tear, re-stocking fees will be deducted from your refund. You will not be able to debate the decision, which will be made entirely at our discretion.
We inspect every single unit shipped out and ensure it is securely packaged prior to shipping. However, in rare occasions some units can arrive with damage. If you suspect your scooter has been damaged right out of the box, please contact us immediately at support@getmotorized.ca with your order number and a description of the issue, along with photo/video documentation to help us diagnose the problem. In most cases, we will provide you with a return label at our expense and ship you a new unit right away.

The standard 12 months of warranty covers any manufacturing defect. Manufacturing defects are unintended problems that arise throughout the usage of the scooter. In the case that any of the below problems arise, you will have our full support in getting the problem resolved. Should we be unable to repair the scooter affected by a manufacturing defect, the defective unit will be replaced by a brand new one. Manufacturing defects include problems with:
Frame - e.g. cracks in the frame as a result of regular usage
Accelerator - e.g. the throttle stops working
Battery - e.g. the battery does not hold charge or offers no voltage discharge
Controller - e.g. the scooter is not turning on or reacting correctly
Motor - e.g. the scooter experiences a sudden loss of power or is unable to reach top speeds
Charger - e.g. the charger is overheating or taking longer than usual to charge the battery
Please note that the warranty only covers the above problems should they occur as a result of regular usage of the scooter. Any excessive or inappropriate usage of the product resulting in the above problems will not be covered by the warranty.
ADDITIONAL COVERAGE:
After your 12 months of warranty are up, we are offering another 12 months of parts and shipping available at cost to customers, labour covered by Apollo Scooters. In other words, spare parts will be available for purchase at manufacturers' prices with no margin added by Apollo Scooters. Should shipping be required, the cost will be borne by the customer.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
Warranty does not include two types of damage: (1) wear and tear and (2) water damage.
(1) Wear and tear is the expected damage caused by the user of the scooter throughout the course of their use of the product, for example punctured tires or worn out brake pads. These are consequences of frequent product usage, and the cost of repair (should there be any) is borne by the customer.
(2) Water damage refers to any electrical issues caused by exposure to water or wet surfaces. All Apollo Scooters are rated IP54 water resistant, which allows for use in light rain and on wet surfaces. This rating should not be mistaken for "water-proof". Electric scooters are electrically-powered products, so by their very nature exposure to water is not recommended. Any damage to the scooter as a result of prolonged water exposure will be repaired at the expense of the customer.
